On this day, Juniper Rose Polhemus was baptized among family and friends at Wanakee. Rev Phil Polhemus (AKA “Poppa”…Great Grandfather) administered the sacrament with water drawn from the Wanakee waterfront. The ceremony was intended to occur at the waterfront but the downpours of the afternoon greatly influenced the decision to remain dry in the camp dining hall!
